Boreholes

During the hotter months, the average garden needs roughly an inch ( 2.5cm ) of water.  However, with the rising cost of water the prospect of huge bills, relying on mains water supplies may be very expensive for you.

A borehole could be a cost-effective solution for you.  Unless your property has a water mine or a reliable replenishing well, it is likely to be the best source of affordable water.

What is a borehole?.

A borehole is a deep, narrow shaft that is dug into your garden in order to reach water underground. It is usually hooked up to an electric pump that will extract water effectively. Before you purchase your property or plot, we can arrange for a water diviner to check if there is liquid in the ground nearby. We can also determine whether you will be able to get the mandatory drilling permit needed.

We can also help you:

  • Get quotes from legally registered drilling contractors
  • Navigate you through the bureaucracy
  • Obtain your Extraction licence
  • Get your water analysed

If you are abroad or particularly busy, we can oversee and manage the complete process on your behalf.
